Media opportunities at ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 - Saturday, 30 October
The following is the schedule of media opportunities on Saturday 30 October at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021:
Dubai
- England and Australia play their Group 1 match of the Super 12s in Dubai on Saturday 30 October at 18h00 local time. The teams will hold their post-match media conferences about 15 minutes after the end of the match.
- India and New Zealand play their Group 2 match of the Super 12s in Dubai on Sunday 31 October at 18h00 local time.
- India will be holding their pre-match training session at the ICC Academy on Saturday 30 October between 18h00 and 21h00 and will hold their pre-match press conference with Virat Kohli from 13h00 local time. This press conference will be held remotely only via zoom, meaning no in person attendance is possible. For those wishing to join the press conference remotely, please use the Dubai zoom link shared below to access.
- New Zealand will be holding their pre-match training session at the ICC Academy on Saturday 30 October between 18h00 and 21h00 and will hold their pre-match press conference with Trent Boult from 11h30 local time. This press conference will be held remotely only via zoom, meaning no in person attendance is possible. For those wishing to join the press conference remotely, please use the Dubai zoom link shared below to access.

Sharjah ****
- South Africa play Sri Lanka in their Group 1 match of the Super 12 at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Saturday 30 October at 14h00 local time. Both teams will hold their post-match press conferences 15 minutes after the game finishes on the Sharjah press conference link.

Abu Dhabi
- Afghanistan will face Namibia in the Group 2 match at 14h00 at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium on 31 October, ahead of that both teams will train and hold pre match press conferences.
- Namibia will train at the nets and Oval 1 outfield situated just behind the main oval at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium between 14h00 and 16h00 and they will hold their pre-match press conference at 16h15 with Craig Williams.
- Afghanistan will train at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium between 18h00 and 21h00 on 30 October. They will hold their pre-match press conference at 17h45 at the stadium using the Abu Dhabi zoom link.

Media Accreditation for semi-finals and final: The media accreditation portal will reopen for the semi-finals and final on 8 November, where media will be able to make requests to attend any of the three matches.
The ICC has confirmed that the venues for the semi-finals of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 will be allocated at the conclusion of the group stage. The winner of Group 1 will play the runner up of Group 2, whilst the winner of Group 2 will play the runner up of Group 1. If India reach the semi-final stage, their match will be played in Dubai.****
Note regarding collection of accreditation cards:
Those who opted for Dubai as the accreditation pick up point now need to collect their cards from the ICC Headquarters in Sports City on Saturday between 12h00 and 14h00.

Some other points to note:
Media interactions are being held on a hybrid model, allowing a limited number of journalists to join in person with the global media allowed to join remotely. Those joining remotely, please login ahead of expected time of media interactions.
Media may only be allowed in pre-match day practice sessions. They can’t attend all practice sessions during the tournament.
NRH camerapersons are not allowed at the pre-match media conferences and will not get match-day accreditation. Press conference clips will be uploaded on the Online Media Zone for TV channels and websites only. These cannot be shared on any Social Media platforms. Filming is not allowed inside venues on match days.
Reporters wanting to attend any media conference need to produce proof of a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of attending a match at any venue. This is an event requirement, and the ICC has arranged for these tests. More about this can be found in our advisoryhere.
