Media opportunities at ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 - Sunday, 24 October
The following is the schedule of media opportunities on Sunday, 24 October at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021:
Dubai
- India and Pakistan play their Group 2 match of the Super 12s at the Dubai International Stadium on Sunday. The teams will hold their post-match press conferences starting about 15 minutes after the end of the match. This press conference will be conducted in person and over zoom. Please refer to the Dubai zoom link below to access online.
Sharjah
- Sri Lanka and Bangladesh play their Group 1 match of the Super 12s in Sharjah on Sunday at 14h00 local time. Both teams will hold their post-match press conferences at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium 15 minutes after the end of the match.
- Scotland and Afghanistan play their Group 1 match of the Super 12s in Sharjah on Monday at 18h00 local time. Scotland will hold their pre-match press conference virtually over zoom on Sunday at 11h00 local time. Please note that there will be no in person attendance available for this press conference. Please refer to the Sharjah zoom link for this conference.
- Afghanistan will be training at the Abu Dhabi Cricket Stadium on Sunday from 14h00 local time and will hold their pre-match press conference at 13h30 local time at the Abu Dhabi Cricket stadium press conference room. This press conference will also be available on zoom.
Collection of accreditation cards (please note change in Dubai collection point):
Most of you would have collected your accreditation cards by now from the venues. Those who have opted to collect their cards in Dubai, will now get them from the reception of the ICC Headquarters in Sports City from 09h00 to 13h00.

Some other points to note:
Media interactions are being held on a hybrid model, allowing a limited number of journalists to join in person with the global media allowed to join remotely. Those joining remotely, please login ahead of expected time of media interactions.
Media may only be allowed in pre-match day practice sessions. They can’t attend all practice sessions during the tournament.
NRH camerapersons are not allowed at the pre-match media conferences and will not get match-day accreditation. Press conference clips will be uploaded on the Online Media Zone for TV channels and websites only. These cannot be shared on any Social Media platforms. Filming is not allowed inside venues on match days.
Reporters wanting to attend any media conference need to produce proof of a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of attending a match at any venue. This is an event requirement. The ICC has a partnership in place with local testing facilities where accredited media can avail free PCR tests. More about this can be found in our advisoryhere.
