Abu Dhabi:

  • The West Indies and Sri Lanka will play their Group 1 match of the Super 12s at the Zayed Cricket Stadium on Thursday 4 November at 18h00 local time. Both teams will hold their post-match press conferences about 15 minutes after the match.

Dubai:

  • Australia and Bangladesh play their Group 1 match of the Super 12s in Dubai on Thursday 4 November at 14h00 local time. The teams will hold their post-match media conferences about 15 minutes after the end of the match. Reminder that anyone wanting to attend post-match press conference will need to be in receipt of a negative PCR test taken within the last 72 hours.
  • India and Scotland play their Group 2 match of the Super 12s in Dubai on Friday 5 November at 18h00 local time.
  • India will be holding an optional pre-match training session at the ICC Academy on Thursday 4 November between 18h00 and 21h00 and will hold their pre-match press conference from 13h30 local time. This press conference will be held remotely only via zoom, meaning no in person attendance is possible. For those wishing to join the press conference remotely, please use the Dubai zoom link shared below to access.
  • Scotland will be holding an optional pre-match training session at the ICC Academy on Thursday 4 November between 18h00 and 21h00 and will hold their pre-match press conference with Kyle Coetzer from 14h00 local time. This press conference will be held remotely only via zoom, meaning no in person attendance is possible. For those wishing to join the press conference remotely, please use the Dubai zoom link shared below to access.

Sharjah

  • New Zealand play Namibia in their Group 2 match of the Super 12s at Sharjah on Friday 5 November.
  • New Zealand will hold their pre-match press conference with Mitchell Santner at 12h00 over Zoom only.
  • Namibia will then hold their pre-match press conference with David Weise at 12h30.

Some other points to note:

At the completion of the Super 12s stage, the top two teams in each group will progress to the semi-finals. The team placed first in Group 1 will play the team placed second in Group 2 in Semi Final 1 – Abu Dhabi, 10 November. The team placed first in Group 2 will play the team placed second in Group 1 in Semi Final 2 – Dubai, 11 November. If host country India qualify for the semi-finals, they will play in Semi Final 2 in Dubai.

Media interactions are being held on a hybrid model, allowing a limited number of journalists to join in person with the global media allowed to join remotely. Those joining remotely, please login ahead of expected time of media interactions. Media may only be allowed in pre-match day practice sessions. They can’t attend all practice sessions during the tournament.

NRH camerapersons are not allowed at the pre-match media conferences and will not get match-day accreditation. Press conference clips will be uploaded on the Online Media Zone for TV channels and websites only. These cannot be shared on any Social Media platforms. Filming is not allowed inside venues on match days.

Reporters wanting to attend any media conference need to produce proof of a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of attending a match at any venue. This is an event requirement, and the ICC has arranged for these tests. More about this can be found in our advisory here.
