The following is the schedule of media opportunities on Thursday, 21 October at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021:

Oman

  • **** Bangladesh and Papua New Guinea play their Group B match at the Oman Cricket Academy Ground on Thursday at 14h00 local time. Both teams will hold their post-match media conferences approximately 15 minutes after the match.
  • **** Oman and Scotland play their Group B match at the Oman Cricket Academy Ground on Thursday at 18h00 local time. Both teams will hold their post-match media conferences approximately 15 minutes after the match.

Sharjah

  • Ireland and Namibia, who play their Group A match at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Friday, will not train on Thursday. Ireland have already held their pre-match media conference in Abu Dhabi while no interactions are planned for Namibia.
  • Sri Lanka and the Netherlands play their Group A match at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Friday. Sri Lanka will not train on Thursday while the Netherlands have an optional session in Sharjah from 18h00 local time. They are expected to hold their pre-match conference beforehand.

Some points to note:

Accreditation for each day is being provided for both matches at a venue. So, accreditation for one match automatically allows you to attend the other one.

The media interactions will be held on a hybrid model, allowing a limited number of journalists to join in person with the global media allowed to join remotely. Those joining remotely, please login ahead of expected time of the media interaction.

NRH camerapersons are not allowed at the pre-match media conferences and will not get match-day accreditation. Press conference clips will be uploaded on the Online Media Zone for TV channels and websites only. These cannot be shared on any Social Media platforms. Filming is not allowed inside venues on match days.

Reporters wanting to attend any media conference need to produce proof of a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of attending a match at any venue. This is an event requirement, and the ICC has arranged for these tests. More about this can be found in our advisoryhere.

Photographers need to limit their movement, ensuring they do not get anywhere close to the dugouts.
