STANDING ROOM TICKETS

For specific matches at the MCG, Standing Room tickets have been made available to purchase. As standing room tickets do not include a reserved seat these tickets are sold at a lower price.

The MCG has standing room bays (generally at back of the seating areas on Level 1) where patrons with a standing room ticket can view the match. Fans with a Standing Room Ticket do not have a reserved seat allocated and can only view the match from allocated standing bays.

Important info:

You must use the standing room bay indicated on your Standing Room ticket

There are no age limits on who can enter the standing room bay, however as there are no seats in this area, we recommend that you only purchase if your group is able to stand for the entire event.

Positions in standing room bays are available on a first-come, first-served basis. It is in your best interest to arrive as early as possible to guarantee a position in the front

Stools, walking stools on wheels, cushions, portable chairs and prams are not permitted in standing room bays

The capacity of each standing bay varies. All bays have been measured according to building codes and standards

Your view of the ground depends on the standing room bay your ticket is for. However, standing room tickets allow for a majority of the playing surface to be seen and a scoreboard or television screen.
