Mpeka appointed first cricket CEO for Uganda

The Uganda Cricket Association (UCA) has appointed veteran administrator Mpeka Muhumuza on a two-year contract as its first Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Mpeka, a former lecturer at Makerere University, began work in the first week of August, and will aim to lead Uganda's rise through the Pepsi ICC Development Programme.

Uganda's opening match in the ICC Intercontinental Shield is against Bermuda later this month.
