Mushfiqur, Liton return for T20I series against New Zealand
Mushfiqur and Liton had missed the T20I series against Australia which Bangladesh won comprehensively 4-1 due to personal reasons. The duo will be accompanied by all-rounder Aminul Islam, who last played against Zimbabwe in March 2020.

Veteran Tamim Iqbal was ruled out of the Australia series due to a knee injury and has not been named in the squad while reserve wicket-keeper Mohammad Mithun has been left out as Liton is expected to resume his duties behind the stumps.
