Fast bowler Dirk Nannes will make his Twenty20 International debut for Australia against England on Sunday at Manchester.

Nannes played his first match for Australia on Friday, picking up 1-20 off seven overs and helping Australia record a 189-run victory over Scotland in an ODI in Edinburgh.

The 33-year-old Australian-born player had previously qualified to play for the Netherlands and was part of that country?s side that dramatically upset England in the opening match of the ICC World Twenty20 2009 at Lord's in June.

In an interview with Fox Sports, he said: "I know that I've had a few good years of playing Twenty20 cricket and I know that when I'm bowling well, I'm good enough to be picked in most sides in the world. I think the figures have kind of shown that.

"I haven't really been getting picked too much and now I'm getting my chance and all I'm going to do is keep bowling the way I have been and hopefully that holds me in good stead to keep getting picked."
