Earlier, Kenya skipper Collins Obuya (52: 42b, 3x4, 1x6) added 64 runs with Duncan Allan (32) to put Kenya on the right path. But Kenya lost wickets at regular intervals to end at a sub-par total.

For Nepal, Basanta Regmi (3-23) took the most wickets.

Nepal's chase was fashioned by Pradeep Airee (45) and Anil Mandal (32) who put on 64 runs for the first wicket.

That put Nepal on track as skipper Paras Khadka (26 n.o.) held one end up well.

Regmi's spell won him the Man of the Match.
