Netherlands players rewarded on latest ODI rankings update
White-ball players from Netherlands, Nepal and Namibia make ground in the updated rankings following their recent League 2 tri-series.
A group of white-ball stars from the Netherlands have been the big winners on the latest update to the ICC Men's ODI Player Rankings.
The Dutch side have been in good touch during the ongoing ICC Men's Cricket World Cup League 2 competition, having recently defeated Nepal by 57 runs in Utrecht as they look to earn a place at the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup Qualifier event.

A momentous ceremony in Johannesburg saw the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2027 venues and brand announced.
Skipper Scott Edwards led the way on that occasion against Nepal with a stylish 57 as the Netherlands further cemented their spot inside the top four on the League 2 standings and the right-hander moved up four places to equal 34th on the latest rankings for ODI batters as a result.
It's a similar story on the latest ODI bowler rankings, with veteran spinner Roelof van der Merwe improving 11 slots to move to equal 63rd following his two-wicket haul against Nepal and teammate Logan van Beek (up three rungs to 76th) also making ground after his own two scalps from the same match.
There was some joy for players from Nepal as Aasif Sheikh gained two places to move to 76th for ODI batters, while teammates Lalit Rajbanshi (up one spot to 45th) and Karan KC (up seven slots to equal 83rd) enjoyed some progress on the updated list for ODI bowlers.
Namibia also took part in that League 2 tri-series with Netherlands and Nepal and a quartet of their players didn't miss out as they made gains up the latest ODI rankings.
Jan Frylinck improved 16 places to move to equal 90th for ODI batters, Ruben Trumpelmann went up five rungs to 87th for ODI bowlers, while Bernard Scholtz (up one slot to equal 34th) and JJ Smit (up three places to equal 47th) progressed on the list for ODI all-rounders.
