The New Zealand selectors today named a 13-man squad for the second National Bank Series Test against Australia starting on Saturday 27 March.

There is one change to the team that took on Australia in the first Test in Wellington. Northern Districts' Kane Williamson has been included in the Test thirteen. Mathew Sinclair also returns to the thirteen-man squad. Daryl Tuffey is unavailable for selection after sustaining an injury during the first Test.

Selector, Mark Greatbatch, said that Kane Williamson has been a stand-out this season at domestic level and deserves an opportunity to be involved at a higher level.

"Kane is an exciting young player an has scored a lot of runs in our domestic competition. This is a good chance for him to be involved in the BLACKCAPS environment. Along with Mathew Sinclair, he gives us various options and balances in the side."

The full squad is:

Daniel Vettori (captain) ? Northern Knights

Brent Arnel ? Northern Knights

Martin Guptill ? Auckland Aces

Peter Ingram ? Central Stags

Tim McIntosh ? Auckland Aces

Chris Martin ? Canterbury Wizards
