New Zealand men’s and women’s sides are set for a packed and exciting home summer after New Zealand Cricket announced a blockbuster schedule featuring a host of high-profile international fixtures for both sides.

The headline attraction of the men’s schedule sees India travel to New Zealand for an all-format tour. The hosts will face India in five T20Is, five ODIs and two Test matches, with the 12-game itinerary set to become the largest international tour in the history of New Zealand Cricket in terms of the total number of matches.

The tour will also mark the first time since 2019 that India will play Test cricket in New Zealand, while it will be their first white-ball assignment in the country since 2022.

New Zealand will then host Sri Lanka for another all-format tour starting on January 16 which will see them play three T20Is, three ODIs and two Tests.

The women will host Bangladesh for three T20Is and three ODIs in December, which will be their only home assignment of the season. The White Ferns were originally scheduled to tour Australia in early 2027, but with the inaugural ICC Women's Champions Trophy in Sri Lanka rescheduled to February 2027, the series against Australia will now be played at a later date.

The home summer, which could include up to 41 days of international cricket, will be played across eight different cities in New Zealand.
