New Zealand come into the fourth ODI against Pakistan in wonderful form. The Black Caps are eyeing a record 11th straight win across all formats in Hamilton and with a resounding 183-run win in Dunedin behind them they will be confident of achieving it.

Kane Williamson's side crushed Pakistan in the third ODI to take a unassailable 3-0 lead in the five-match series, with Trent Boult picking up a five-wicket haul to bowl the tourists out for just 74. It was the culmination of a perfect series so far. In the other games they have shown they have the explosive batting and game-management to go with their exciting stable of fast bowlers.

Williamson said after the game his aim was to complete the 5-0 clean sweep and Pakistan will have to improve to stop that happening. They currently look a long way from the side who triumphed at the ICC Champions Trophy last summer. The pace, bounce and sideways movement of the New Zealand pitches have not suited their style of play so far.

The Black Caps have shown they can win in all kinds of ways and New Zealand coach Mike Hesson has been particularly pleased by the contrasting nature of the victories.

"We have been very smart on surfaces that perhaps haven't allowed us to play how we've wanted to play," he said. "We often want to play with a bit of flair and be aggressive with everything we do with the bat and sometimes conditions don't allow that. We're improving and I think we're playing some smart cricket, particularly on a variety of surfaces, so that's very pleasing."

With the series secure, New Zealand could decide to rotate their players, with all-rounder Colin de Grandhomme available having returned from Zimbabwe following the death of his father, while Matt Henry is another option.

Pakistan head coach Mickey Arthur is searching for the solution to his side's poor form and could shuffle his pack. One of Mohammad Hafeez and Shoaib Malik is likely to drop to the sidelines.
