Oman unbeaten after Kaleem five-for

Put in to bat, Tanzania lost wickets at regular intervals to be bowled out for 94 in 32.5 overs. Aamir Kaleem, the left-arm spinner, was Oman’s best bowler with figures of 5 for 23. Shaheed Dhanani (32), the stand-in captain, Abhik Patwa (28) and Riziki Kiseto (12) were the top three scorers in Tanzania’s innings and among Kaleem’s scalps. Ajay Lalcheta and Rajeshkumar Ranpura supported Kaleem well with two wickets each.
Zeeshan Maqsood and Khawar Ali put on 42 runs for the opening wicket to get Oman’s chase going. After Ali was stumped for 15, Maqsood, who made 62 not out, and Vaibhav Wategaonkar finished the formalities in 17.3 overs before the lunch break.
