England might have won, but it wasn’t for lack of trying on the part of Virat Kohli.
When it’s a contest between a team and an individual the team generally wins. #INDvENG

Kohli’s 149 and 51 in an amazing one-man show was duly celebrated.
Thoroughly enjoyed watching that battle. Test cricket at it's best. Triumph over adversity and a joy to watch Virat Kohli craft, construct and conquer his surroundings on to his 22nd test century.

A masterclass from Virat Kohli, leading from the front. A display of tremendous character determination and grit #ENGIND

It was the sort of batting effort that deserved a big reward – it came up on cue.

Before the Edgbaston Test got over, Nepal created history by registering their first ever win in ODI cricket, against the Netherlands in Amstelveen.
They took to Twitter to celebrate.

A special tribute came in from Peter Borren.
It was only Netherlands vs Nepal. (Only?!?)
— Peter Borren (@dutchiepdb) August 4, 2018
There was only 400 people there. (Generous estimate)
But seriously, was yesterday the most dramatic finish in odi history?
(Quite possibly)
Unbelievable scenes. Paras wins it for Nepal.
Cricket at its best.#NEDvsNEP @KNCBcricket

We're all excited about 300 again, but it has nothing to do with Gerard Buttler this time. It might still go down to a battle, though.

No worries at all in the Universe Boss taking over my record! Richly deserved, hope to play a single wicket match with you one day, let's see who hits more 6s and there should be no rules for getting OUT! 😁@henrygayle https://t.co/WxEaUhKjgY
