#OnTheUp: Pakistan, Chennai reign on Super Sunday
A weekend of the Indian Premier League final, the Champions League final and the Lord's Test – how's that for sporting drama?
Pakistan needed less than four days to beat Joe Root's men, thriving in English conditions, better than the hosts themselves.
Out class performance by Pakistan at Lords 💚 ! Outperforming England in all the departments in their home is a great achievement.#ENGvPAK

Pakistan team had control of the game from the first ball. Their commitment to discipline in all areas especially in their fielding was not only great to watch but very refreshing. Hats off to Pakistan and management, keep it up! #ENGvPAK

Happiness is to see our team win with a comprehensive all round performance. The fact that it’s at @HomeOfCricket and against @englandcricket is next level happiness that needs a dance (after iftar). Congrats team Pakistan, so proud of you #EngvsPak #PakistanZindabad 🇵🇰 pic.twitter.com/J1zTGxoRzD

Reason enough for Shane Warne to call for change …
Congrats to Pakistan on there thrashing of England at Lords !Pakistan were terrific in all departments. What should England do followers as they’ve been ordinary for a while now ? Are drastic changes needed ? I would open with Buttler for starters @WardyShorts @MichaelVaughan
— Shane Warne (@ShaneWarne) May 27, 2018
… and for Kevin Pietersen to do the same.
Before the start of play, Azhar Mahmood had to ring the five-minute bell, but didn’t have the time.
😂 When you ring the 5 minute bell but then have to get to the pitch for the team photo...

Later in the day, it was Chennai Super Kings v Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL final. Two teams of fantastic players, but in the end, it became all about Shane Watson.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni's daughter, though, was least impressed by the silverware.

Moeen Ali couldn’t have been happy with the way this one turned out, 3-1 to the Spaniards.
Sam Billings was rubbing it in!
Vamos Madrid! @MoeenAli 🤣

Rohit Sharma had sympathy for the losing side – and a reminder of what sports was really about.
Huge admiration and respect for #LorisKarius and his brave gesture to the Liverpool fans after his error in yesterday’s game. Everyone makes mistakes but to accept it the way he did takes courage. This is what sport is and what it brings out 👏 ✊ #UCLfinal pic.twitter.com/4ss8fyqGdR
