#OnTheUp: Van Niekerk and Kapp tie the knot

Kapp and van Niekerk
Kapp and van Niekerk

We had Pakistan beating Australia to win the triangular Twenty20 International series in Zimbabwe, India winning their T20I series in England 2-1, the Bangladesh collapse, and another Bangladesh collapse, in Antigua, and more …

But this comes first.

Congratulations to van Niekerk and Kapp then, we wish them the very best.

Moving on, it’s hotting up at the Wimbledon courts with Roger Federer playing a smart one on the up…

… and Stuart Broad had a counter question.

While Sachin chipped in with his assessment of Federer's form.

On to what we witnessed in Harare, where Pakistan warded off the threat to their No.1 position in T20I cricket, and won the trophy for good measure.

Glenn Maxwell, meanwhile, got into a spot of bother over the handshake-that-wasn’t, but apologised quickly, and all is, hopefully, well.

Prior to that, Maxwell and some of his mates were away in Hatcliffe Extension.

The Indians also won big in England.

Tendulkar wasn’t just wishing the Indian team on their success …

… and his old mate, in Sourav Ganguly’s language.

Elsewhere, with England making it to the sem-finals of the 2018 Fifa World Cup, there is a buzz all across the country and the cricketers are not too behind.

Even the lads from New Zealand are in it! #ItsComingHome

And with the World Cup on, the meme games are also right up. Neymar, in the main.

Even the kids are in no mood to spare him!

And do see if you can help Chris Gayle out here.
