Pakistan coach steps down ahead of South Africa series
Coles has been at the helm since April this year, but will step down immediately and not be available for Pakistan's white-ball series at home against South Africa next month.
The New Zealander was in charge of Pakistan women's team between 2017 and 2019 and had stints with Scotland (women) and Papua New Guinea (men) prior to being re-appointed by the Asian nation earlier this year.

The resignation of Coles isn't the only move in women's coaching ranks, with Ireland announcing a temporary re-jig of their coaching setup.
Glenn Querl will step up and lead Ireland's women's team during this month's three-match T20I tour of the Netherlands, with regular coach Ed Joyce to travel as his assistant.
Querl coached Ireland at the ICC Women's Under-19 Cricket World Cup earlier this year and will use the experience in the Netherlands to further develop his coaching skillset.
