Kenya beat Canada by four wickets in the ICC Intercontinental Cup match in a thrilling encounter at the ICC Global Cricket Academy Oval 1 in Dubai on Thursday.

On the fourth and final day of the contest, Canada resuming at its overnight score of 59 for two was bowled out for 175, leaving Kenya a chase of 128 to win the match.

Kenya chased down the target to end at 129 for six.

The bright spot in the Canada innings was opener Hiral Patel (93: 193b, 12x4). He held the innings together and tried to rally the lower order.

For Kenya, Nehemiah Odhiambo (5-43) was the best bowler on view.

Patel then changed roles and became the chief wicket-taker as he tried to wreck Kenya's chase. Patel ended with figures of four for 41.

But steady contributions from David Allan (35) and Tanmay Mishra (38 not out) ensured that Kenya went home winners.
