CWC27 is coming to South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia

The road to ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2027 leads to South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia.

Graeme West, Director of High Performance at Cricket Ireland, understands the importance of regular playing time for his teams and development program, especially in the playing conditions of the upcoming and desired tournament.

"With Namibia and Zimbabwe hosting the ICC Cricket World Cup and Qualification events in 2027 alongside South Africa, the tours provide great opportunities for our players to familiarise themselves with the conditions and some of their potential opponents."

There is a strong flexibility in the squad announced travelling to Southern Africa, with many players expected to gain experience.

This provides a prime opportunity for Cricket Ireland to strengthen their squad depth within the Wolves side, developing a new generation of players against a quality opponent.
