Leading stakeholders in the game share their views on how to maintain the importance of Test cricket.

Test cricket must believe in itself and at the same time acknowledge that it must fight for its place in a changing world. Small improvements will help, faster over rates, the virtual abolition of bad light, better facilities at grounds (especially shade and sustenance), fewer replays of minor matters and so forth. These will make the idea of going to test matches more attractive. Cheaper tickets are also needed in many countries. Crowds add to the atmosphere of a match. Larger steps must also be considered, such as night matches. Divisions could be introduced as nothing is more damaging to Test cricket than one-sided matches .Test cricket must emphasize its history and tradition. It is the place where names are made and legends are born. Cheapen the brand and it dies but better presentation will help.
