Cricket PNG will host the Air Niugini International Supa Series which will feature Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore battling the Barramundis in 50-over and Twenty20 cricket. The series, to be played next month, will see teams competing on turf wickets.

Cricket PNG CEO, Bill Leane, said: "The series brings to Papua New Guinea three teams ranked inside the top 40 in the world. Malaysia, Hong Kong and Singapore represent the next level of competition for our Barramundi"s and the next level of international sport for Papua New Guinea sport lovers."

Mick Nades, Chairman of Cricket PNG, anticipates a huge turn-out: "If we can"t fill the venue at Amini Park and Colts Ground with a huge crowd to support our national team, it will be a huge surprise. We appeal to all of PNG to come out and support the Barramundi"s in a home international series."

The teams will bring their best international players and this will be a true ?feast of sport" in Papua New Guinea.
