Public supports the McGrath Foundation at Sydney Test

Cricket fans have thrown their support behind the McGrath Foundation at the Sydney Test Match between Australia and South Africa with already $100 000 being donated to the McGrath Foundation.

Day 1 saw over $43 000 collected at the ground by 3 Mobile volunteers through the distribution of pink bandanas, over $8000 raised through auctions at the SCG Trust Chairman’s breakfast, while over $50 000 has been raised so far through online donations since the Test promotion went live on the McGrath Foundation website.

Chairman of the McGrath Foundation, Glenn McGrath ahs been overwhelmed with the public backing of the McGrath Foundation:

“The foundation is very grateful to the public for their support, and hopefully it will continue through the 3 Mobile Test match with the fantastic signed shirts up for grabs until the end of the match.”
