India's Cheteshwar Pujara has been fined 10 per cent of his match fee for breaching the ICC Code of Conduct during the second day in the second cricket Test against Australia in Hyderabad today.

The India batsman was found to have breached Article 2.1.1 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel (the "Code") which relates to "breach of the ICC's Clothing and Equipment Regulations during an International Match".

Pujara was found to have three logos visible on his helmet - one was his bat manufacturer's and the other two were his helmet manufacturer's. The ICC's Clothing and Equipment Regulations stipulate that only the logo of the helmet manufacturer should be visible on a player's helmet. As such, therefore, this constitutes a breach of the ICC's Clothing and Equipment Regulations.

Pujara accepted the Level 1 charge and the sanction proposed by Chris Broad of the Emirates Elite Panel of ICC Match Referees.

The charge was brought by on-field umpires Marais Erasmus and Kumar Dharmasena and third umpire S Ravi.
