Shweta Sehrawat (India) - 231 runs at an average of 115.50

While all eyes were on the likes of established stars Richa Ghosh and Shafali Verma heading into the event, it has been Sehrawat that has impressed most during India's run to the semi-finals.

Sehrawat has the second most runs at the event behind England captain Grace Scrivens and boasts an imposing average greater than 100 due to the fact she has been dismissed just twice so far in South Africa.

The unbeaten 92* against hosts South Africa has been the highlight of Sehrawat's contributions thus far, while the 18-year-old also managed another half-century in a victory over the UAE.

Grace Scrivens (England)- 269 runs at an average of 53.80, six wickets at an average of 7.16

The left-hander has been a model of consistency with the bat at this event and is a major reason why England are yet to taste defeating heading into the business end of the tournament.

Scrivens has made more runs than any other player at the tournament and the 93 the England skipper posted against Ireland in Potchefstroom is the highest individual score made so far.

And it's not just with the bat that Scrivens has prospered, with the 19-year-old also claiming the outstanding figures of 4/2 with her more than useful off-spin against Zimbabwe.

Milly Illingworth (Australia) - three wickets at an average of 20 and an economy rate of 5.00

While Illingworth may not have the eye-catching statistics that many of her contemporaries can boast so far at the tournament, one has to delve a bit deeper into the 17-year-old's influence on the Australia squad.

The explosive right-arm quick is Australia's enforcer with the ball and her crucial spell of 2/12 against India - which included the massive scalp of Shafali Verma - helped ensure her side stayed alive in the run for the semi-finals.

The sheer pace that Illingworth can muster has been difficult for many opposition batters to deal with and the bounce she can obtain out of the pitch has led to a large amount of dot balls.

Shorna Akter (Bangladesh) - 153 runs at an average of 51, one wicket

The Bangladesh all-rounder has been a breath of fresh air at the tournament and it's no surprise to learn that the powerful right-hander is tied for the most sixes hit at the event.

Akter's highest score came when she managed an unbeaten 50* against Sri Lanka, but the 16-year-old's 23* in the first-round group match may have been more influential as Bangladesh upset the highly-favoured Australia line-up.

The teenager has also chipped in with the ball, claiming a valuable wicket against the UAE while keeping the scoring rate down with her decent leg-spin.

Madison Landsman (South Africa) - 91 runs at an average of 18.20, six wickets at an average of 9.5

The future looks bright for the young South Africa all-rounder, who has made solid contributions with the bat, ball and in the field at the inaugural event.

Landsman's leg-spin claimed impressive figures of 4/16 and the first hat-trick at the tournament in a standout performance against Scotland, while innings of 32 against India and 37 against Bangladesh have shown the right-hander to be a player of immense promise.

The 18-year-old is also one of South Africa's best fielders and has been seen saving many runs in the field throughout the Proteas' matches.
