Rain plays spoilsport as second Sri Lanka v India T20I is washed out
India Women, who came into this game with a 1-0 lead over the hosts in the five-match series, won the toss and elected to field.
Arundhati Reddy got the visitors their first wicket when she got opening bat Yasoda Mendis caught by Deepti Sharma in the second over with just 10 runs on the board.
India held on to win by 13 runs in the first T20I of their tour to Sri Lanka.

Sri Lanka captain Chamari Athapaththu and wicket-keeper bat Dilani Manodara (15*) helped Sri Lanka recover from the early blow by sharing a 29-run partnership for the second wicket.
Athapaththu was particularly aggressive, taking 16 balls for her 21 with two fours and a six.
But just when the Sri Lankan captain had started to look threatening, Sharma breached her defences and sent her back in the sixth over.
Rain has delayed the second T20I between @BCCIWomen and @OfficialSLC Women, with the hosts on 49/3 in 7.5 overs.

Kavisha Dilhari, promoted in the batting order to No.4, was dismissed in the next over by Poonam Yadav, the leg-spinner, to reduce Sri Lanka to 44/3.
Rain intervened soon after, in the eighth over of the innings with the score 49/3 with Eshani Lokusuriyage giving Manodara company, and that is where things remained when the game was called off.
The third T20I will be played on Saturday, 22 September, in Colombo.
