Rain washes out second day of Pakistan’s tour game
Rain prevented any play on the second day of Pakistan’s tour game against Kent on Sunday 28 April.
An early lunch was taken, but persistent drizzle, bad light and the forecast for more rain in the afternoon meant play was called off.
On day one, Pakistan were bowled out for 168 in the first innings of their opening four-day fixture and led by 129 at stumps as Kent ended on 39/1.
The Pakistan batsmen struggled to adjust to the conditions, with only Imam-ul-Haq (61) making more than 25.
Gloomy start in Canterbury and light drizzle falling. Bad light also a concern for the umpires who will continue to monitor conditions.

The floodlights are up and on but there's not currently enough natural light to start play. Fingers crossed that conditions improve...
As the team dealt with the frustration of losing out on match practice, back home, Shoaib Akhtar, the former pace bowler, said the players would take around two weeks to get used to the conditions.
Akhtar, speaking at a seminar, also cautioned the team against taking Ireland lightly when they play them for their historic first Test.
Pakistan have one more warm-up game against Northamptonshire before the Test against Ireland from May 11. The visitors then play two Tests against England, at Lord’s and Headingley.
