SA20 flyers: The batters and bowlers making a fast start
South Africa’s T20 league is yet to see a team pull away in the standings as all six have won and lost at least once in the first week of the SA20.
But some of the biggest names in T20s have made an early statement as they pile on boundaries with the bat or restrict the flow of runs with the ball.
We take a look at the leading batters and bowlers so far in the SA20 league:
Heinrich Klaasen (Durban's Super Giants): 162
Quinton de Kock (Durban's Super Giants): 146
Dewald Brevis (MI Cape Town): 127
Kyle Mayers (Durban's Super Giants): 124
Jos Buttler (Paarl Royals): 117
Durban's Super Giants dominate the list of the top run-scorers in the inaugural SA20 league, with young gun Dewald Brevis and England’s ICC Men’s T20 World Cup winning skipper Jos Buttler not far behind from their four matches.
England imports Will Jacks (114) and Phil Salt (107) could move into the top five for runs when Pretoria Capitals play their fourth T20, as could Sunrisers Eastern Cape pair JJ Smuts (102) and Aiden Markram (101).

Phil Salt (Pretoria Capitals): 167.18
Tristan Stubbs (Sunrisers Eastern Cape): 166.66

South Africa all-rounder George Linde has put together an imposing strike rate with an unbeaten 63 from 28 balls (strike rate of 225) against Sunrisers Eastern Cape that included five sixes and four boundaries.
Pretoria Capitals pair Will Jacks and Phil Salt are close behind and have hit at a similar rate to their early England exploits, while journeyman James Fuller (Sunrisers Eastern Cape) leads all-comers with a strike rate of 200 but from only 23 balls faced.
Kagiso Rabada (MI Cape Town): 4.75
Bjorn Fortuin (Paarl Royals): 6.38
Eathan Bosch (Pretoria Capitals): 6.4
Lungi Ngidi (Paarl Royals): 6.58
Anrich Nortje (Pretoria Capitals): 6.75
Three regular South Africa speedsters are among the top bowlers for restricting runs, although Kagiso Rabada has only played two SA20 matches while Lungi Ngidi and Anrich Nortje have run out in three.
Reeza Hendricks (Joburg Super Kings) has the lowest economy rate of 3.2, and Kyle Mayers (Durban's Super Giants) is bowling at 3.4 runs an over, but both have only bowled a total of five overs in four matches.

England left-arm seamer Reece Topley (Durban's Super Giants) and South Africa veteran Aaron Phangiso (Joburg Super Kings) have also claimed six scalps though at a slightly poorer average.
