Schedule of matches and media opportunities for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2020
Here is the schedule for 16 and 17 February ahead of the 10-team competition. This includes warm-up matches and other media activity.
16 February
Adelaide
- The ICC T20 World Cup Trophy Tour, driven by Nissan, will arrive at Karen Rolton Oval, Adelaide. A media opportunity is available from 09h00.
- Sri Lankaand South Africawill play a warm-up game at Karen Rolton Oval, Adelaide, starting at 10h30 local time. A player from each team will be made available to media after the match.
- Englandand New Zealandwill play a warm-up game at Karen Rolton Oval, Adelaide, starting at 14h30 local time. A player from each team will be made available to media after the match.
Brisbane
- Bangladeshand Thailandwill play a warm-up game at Allan Border Field, Brisbane, starting at 10h00 local time. A player from each team will be made available to media after the match.
- Indiaand Pakistanwill play a warm-up game at Allan Border Field, Brisbane, starting at 14h00 local time. A player from each team will be made available to media after the match.
- West Indieswill be holding an open media session at Allan Border Field, Brisbane, starting around 10h15 local time. Please note that teams generally put up 3-4 players for journalists to interview during the open media sessions.
17 February
Sydney
- **Captains’ press conference:**The 10 captains will be presented and interviewed at a press conference at Taronga Zoo, Sydney. Captains Meg Lanning (Australia), Saima Khatun (Bangladesh), Heather Knight (England), Harmanpreet Kaur (India), Sophie Devine (New Zealand), Bismah Maroof (Pakistan), Dane van Niekerk (South Africa), Chamari Atapattu (Sri Lanka), Sornnarin Tippoch (Thailand) and Stafanie Taylor (West Indies) will all be present.
- Venue : Taronga Zoo, Sydney (Bradleys Head Rd, Mosman, New South Wales 2088) - Event will take place in the ‘Epicure at Taronga Zoo’, in the Gili Rooftop room.
- Time : Media are invited to arrive from 10h00 for morning tea. The event will commence at 10h30 and conclude around 11h30 local time.
- Parking : available directly outside the Taronga Centre, a short distance from the event.
Lunch will be served for working media after the event, and there will be a space set aside for media to work from. There will be time set aside for vision and photo opportunities.

Media Accreditation: Media accreditation is to be collected at the first venue you are reporting from. Venue Accreditation Centre opening dates and times can be found in the Online Media Zone for your convenience.
You will need to show your Identity Document that you used in your accreditation application to collect your accreditation pass. For Australian and New Zealand Citizens; your current passport or Australian Drivers Licence (including learners permit) issued by an Australian State or Territory. All other nationalities; your current passport. Please note you must collect your pass in person.
