  • New Zealand and England have qualified for final of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup.
  • England have previously made the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup final three times (1979 1987 and 1992) and New Zealand once (2015).
  • The ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 Media Pack has information on all host cities, details of match officials and preview packs and stats for all games.

London

  • Englandwill train at Lord’s from 10h00 to 13h00. Captain Eoin Morgan will address his pre-final press conference at around 12h30.
  • New Zealandwill train at Lord’s from 14h00 to 17h00. Captain Kane Williamson will address his pre-final press conference at around 13h30.
  • **Media:**There will be a compulsory media briefing given by the ICC for those turning up to Matchday -1 for the first time. This will take place at 09h45 in the Press Box. During this briefing non-rights holders will be informed what content they are able to gather and terms of use. There will also be information about pitch access restrictions. Failure to attend this briefing will mean you will not be able to gather content on Saturday 13 July.
  • **Press box:**The Lord’s press box will open at 09h30 and close promptly at 18h00
  • London FanZone:

The London Official Fanzone in Trafalgar Square will be open and accessible to media tomorrow (Saturday 13 July) and Sunday (14 July). It will provide a colourful backdrop for NRH TV crews, where the only restriction is not to film live match action on the big screen on Sunday. Please note it is a closed and secure event so please email Joe Whiteley: joe.whiteley@cwc19.co.uk to organise any media and broadcast access across the weekend.

ABOUT THE ICC MEN’S CRICKET WORLD CUP 2019

  • The final of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup will be held at Lord’s on 14 July.
  • England and Wales have previously staged ICC Cricket World Cups in 1975, 1979, 1983 and 1999
  • Australia are the most successful team in the history of the World Cup, having won events in 1987, 1999, 2003, 2007 and 2015. The West Indies won the first two editions in 1975 and 1979, while India won in 1983 and 2011. Other winners are Pakistan in 1992 and Sri Lanka in 1996.
