Scotland holds the edge at the end of Day 2

Namibia needs another 120 runs to take a lead over Scotland in the four-day ICC Intercontinental Cup match at the Wanderers Cricket Ground in Windhoek.

On the second day of the match, Namibia ended at 230 for six off 74 overs. Earlier in the day, Scotland was bowled out for 350 in 115.4 overs.

Scotland began the day at its overnight score of 268 for seven. The tail wagged a bit before Christi Viljoen ran through the lower order. Viljoen ended with figures of 5 for 94.

In its reply, Namibia lost early wickets. But Sarel Burger (47) and skipper Craig Williams (51: 89b, 8x4, 1x6) added 67 runs for the third wicket. Later, Williams added a further 58 runs for the fourth wicket with Gerrie Snyman (44).

Before the stumps were drawn for the day, Namibia lost a few more wickets.

Majid Haq bowled a brilliant spell of 22-14-20-3 to help Scotland end the day with its noses ahead.
