Half centuries by Fraser Watts and opener Kyle Koetzer helped Scotland post a 56-run victory over Uganda in the fifth match of the Tri-nation T20 series played at Gymkhana Club Ground, Nairobi on Wednesday.

Put on to bat first, Scotland opened well with Koetzer (64) and later Watts (73) adding on 130 runs for the second wicket. The rest of the batsman failed to sustain the momentum as the side finished its innings at 163-4. Davis Arinaitwe was the mainstay of the bowling attack with his figures of 2-18.

In reply, Uganda lost its wickets at regular intervals faced with tight bowling led by Dewald Nel (2-12), Gordon Drummond (2-14) and Majid Haq (2-15). It was restricted to 107-9 with a top score from Akbar Baig (38).

Kenya and Scotland will play each other in the final game at the same venue on Thursday to determine the winner of the tournament.
