Semi and Final accreditations

Dear Accredited Media,

Throughout the day a number of Media have enquired about using their accreditation as “Ground Passes” to gain entry to the semi-finals and final, even if they have been unsuccessful in their applications to attend these matches.

This is strictly not possible.

Security and Health and Safety restrictions designate a maximum occupancy within the grounds (which includes staff, ticket holders, stewards, media, etc). Therefore, anyone attempting to enter the ground without an activated accreditation will be refused entry, with further sanctions possible.

Only successful applicants will have accreditations activated for matchdays, with all other accreditations deactivated.

Semi-Final Two:

Due to the large number of applications, there has been a slight delay in confirming accreditations for Semi-Final Two. This process has now been completed and decisions will start to appear on accounts over the next few hours.

You can be view your status by logging on at: https://accreditation.cwc19.co.uk/registration/medialogin.aspx

Attendance to all matches has been determined in accordance with the ICC quotas, priority orders and in consideration of the teams playing.

We received 278 applications for semi-final one and 331 applications for semi-final two. We can only cater for 134 media (including Overflow) at semi-final one and 144 media (including Overflow) at semi-final two.

For the Final we received 366 applications for 237 spaces (including Overflow).

Due to the significant number of requests, these allocations are final and the Media Operations team will not engage in correspondence surrounding unsuccessful applications.
