Singapore crowned ACC U16 Elite 2010 champions
Singapore beat Nepal by 68 runs in its own den, winning the ACC U16 Elite Cup 2010 in Kirtipur, on the outskirts of Kathmandu on Tuesday. It was the first time Nepal had lost an ACC final at home since 1998.
Winning the toss, Singapore chose to bat and posted 146-6 off 40 overs with a useful half-century from Vikas Rajagopal. In reply, Man-of-the-Match Navin Param picked up 4-28 and Sarisrakar Pogaru 3-10 to help limit Nepal to just 78 runs in 22 overs.
Nepal's Nischal Pandey was named both Bowler and Player of the Tournament while Rajagopal was awarded Batsman of the Tournament.
