Sir Tim Rice accepts the Estonian Challenge: Jagger and Co. To Visit Tallinn?

Hot on the heels of Terry Wogan and Bill Clinton, three-time Oscar winner Sir Tim Rice recently paid a visit to Estonia to watch a production of 'his' musical Evita, and could be returning soon.

Interviewed by Jason Barry, Sir Tim took the challenge to return to Estonia again next year, this time with his cricket team for a game in Tallinn.

Sir Tim, who is due to take over from Ted Dexter as President of MCC on 1 October this year, captains the Heartaches, a team which includes such famous names as Mick Jagger and Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones, David Bowie, Ringo Starr and Sir Paul McCartney of the Beatles, Brian May of Queen, Gary Lineker and other international celebrities.

'We are always looking for different places to play and Estonia will definitely be one of them!' he said. 'I am delighted to accept the invitation from Jason and hope that I can bring over a full team next year to play the Estonian national team!' The game is scheduled for June 2003.
