Stars on the rise in ICC Dream11 mid-tournament top 10

The ICC Women's Cricket World Cup 2022 has already seen plenty of huge hitting, brilliant bowling and classic catches, with Dream11 points earned for each involvement.

All-rounders feature heavily among the leading points-scorers with some emerging talent also high in the mid-tournament rankings.

Here is the CWC22 top 10 made up of players to pile on the most points to 16 March:

The West Indies’ all-rounder is the top-scorer in Dream11 fantasy so far after contributing with bat, ball and in the field.

The opener has scored the second most runs in the tournament with 207 and has taken six wickets, while also claiming the most catches at CWC22 with six.

Highly-skilled in all areas of the game, Matthews is rightly one of the first players selected in many Dream11 teams.

Dream11 points: 351

The leading scorer at CWC22 with 277 runs has been in fine form at the top of the Australian batting line-up and for any Dream11 players that went early on the veteran opener.

Haynes has made a start in all four of her innings so far but has mainly earned Dream11 points with a 130 against England and 83* against the West Indies.

Dream11 points: 342

The South African all-rounder can score Dream11 points with the bat and has 81 runs in three innings but it is with the ball that she does the most damage.

Kapp has the second-most wickets in CWC22 so far thanks in part to a masterful five-wicket haul against England.

One of the emerging stars of the game has started brightly in the tournament on home soil, with a half-century against India and 47* against Bangladesh.

Kerr has also had an impact with the ball, taking five wickets that includes 3/56 against India, though it is easy to expect her best is yet to come.

Dream11 points: 314

The leading wicket-taker at CWC22 with nine wickets has the consistency to be a trusted Dream11 selection as shown by claiming three wickets in all but one of New Zealand’s matches so far.

Tahuhu can also do some damage with the bat and gathered more points with a quick-fire 23 against Australia.

The Australian all-rounder showed her star quality against the West Indies when tearing through their top-order with three early wickets to take her tournament tally to five.

That came after Perry made an assured 68 with the bat against New Zealand, highlighting that she can earn Dream11 points in each innings of a match.

The all-rounder got off to a flying start in Dream11 fantasy with an unbeaten ton and two wickets in England’s opening match against Australia.

The runs have dried up since then but Sciver has claimed another two wickets to keep the points mounting up.

Dream11 points: 274

The left-handed batter and right-arm bowler has been a consistent contributor with the bat and has 150 runs in three innings.

She has curiously only been thrown the ball in one match but took 3/25 against Bangladesh to press her claims for more overs as CWC22 progresses.

The young gun is another player who has contributed with bat and ball, and her Dream11 tally is built around the 67 runs scored against Pakistan and the 4/34 she took against New Zealand.

Vastrakar is a star on the rise for India and sure to be a regular in Dream11 teams for a long time to come.

The West Indies’ opener has been steady with the bat, impressive with the ball and starred in the field.

Dottin has 121 runs in four knocks, has taken three wickets and claimed two catches including one absolute screamer against England.
