• This was only the second score of 50 or more for Tamim in 13 ODIs v England. In Tests he has eight such scores in 12 innings against England.
• The third wicket partnership between Tamim and Mushfiqur of 166 is the largest stand for Bangladesh in ODI cricket outside of Asia. Their previous highest was 141 by Mushfiqur and Mahmudullah for the fifth wicket against England at Adelaide in ICC Cricket World Cup 2015.
• Since ICC Cricket World Cup 2015, only Kagiso Rabada (64) has taken more ODI wickets than Adil Rashid (60) Before being omitted for Thursday’s game, he had played 41 of England's 44 matches since the last World Cup.
• Tamim's innings of 128 is the highest for Bangladesh in ODI cricket against England, surpassing his own 125 at Mirpur in 2010.

• His innings is also the highest for Bangladesh in ICC Champions Trophy cricket, surpassing Shahriar Nafees's 123 not out against Zimbabwe at Jaipur in 2016.
• 305/6 is Bangladesh's highest ever ODI total against England, surpassing their 288 at Mirpur in 2016.
• Jake Ball conceded at least 80 runs for the third time in just 11 ODIs. He equalled James Anderson's England record. Anderson conceded 80+ runs three times in 191 ODIs. Only Lasith Malinga (7 times) has conceded 80+ runs on more occasions.
• Joe Root scored his tenth ODI century – the third from England to achieve that feat after Marcus Trescothick and Eoin Morgan. Root is the youngest and quickest to achieve the feat of the three – taking just 84 innings to 106 for Trescothick and 145 for Morgan.
• Thursday marked the first time that England has ever had two partnerships of at least 100 runs in the same match in an ICC event.
• This was the highest successful run-chase in ICC Champions Trophy history, surpassing Sri Lanka’s 297/3 against England at The Oval in 2013.
