  • Joe Root scored his tenth ODI century – the third from England to achieve that feat after Marcus Trescothick and Eoin Morgan. Root is the youngest and quickest to achieve the feat of the three – taking just 84 innings to 106 for Trescothick and 145 for Morgan.
  • Thursday marked the first time that England has ever had two partnerships of at least 100 runs in the same match in an ICC event.
