Scotland has named its 14-man squad for the ODI encounter against Bangladesh to be played on Monday in Glasgow. Gordon Drummond will lead the squad which also includes Gavin Hamilton, Kyle Coetzer and Josh Davey.

Bangladesh is the only Test side to have been beaten by Scotland in an ODI in Edinburgh in 2004, and coach Pete Steindl hopes to repeat this success by placing his faith on experience. He has named veterans Gordon Goudie, Dougie Lockhart, and Fraser Watts who were part of the winning squad for the forthcoming match.

Steindl said on the Press And Journal site: "It is always a huge thrill to be squaring up to a Test nation on home soil. The players have shown tremendous spirit and determination during what has been a really busy season so far. And the aim is to continue in that vein in the hope of picking up a confidence-boosting victory."

The full squad: Gordon Drummond (captain), Richie Berrington, Kyle Coetzer, Josh Davey, Gordon Goudie, Gavin Hamilton, Majid Haq, Moneeb Iqbal, Dougie Lockhart (wk), Ross Lyons, Neil McCallum, Preston Mommsen, Matthew Parker, Fraser Watts.
