On this week's edition of ICC Cricket World radio show, England's Stuart Broad talks about his cricketing heroes and villains.

"Glenn McGrath and Shaun Pollock were my childhood heroes. It was just the way they performed on the field and carried themselves and, of course, how they bowled ? their consistency, reliability and their passion for the game. I thoroughly enjoyed watching them," said Broad.

And his toughest opponents? "It's difficult to fear people because we try to play without fear but I admire Ricky Ponting. He's a very difficult guy to work out and get out so I'd say he's the best batsman I've bowled against."

Also in this week's show Cape Cobras' captain and Champions League centurion Andrew Puttick talks about his experiences of playing in India and also his ambitions of some day representing the Proteas.

"It has always been my goal to play Test cricket for South Africa. That's my major driving force. To play for an IPL team would be special but South Africa is where I am looking," said the 28-year-old left-hander from Western Province.

As part of the show, there is a special report from the fourth ICC East Asia-Pacific Trophy taking place in the exotic island nation of Samoa, an event that is sure to benefit the local development of the game.

"There's a really good programme going on in Samoa at the moment," says Samoa captain Geoff Clarke. "Cricket pitches have been laid in several villages because we see the importance of getting the villages involved. We also have a schools competition so we are coming at it from a grass-roots point of view."

The show can be used in whole or part by radio stations that want cricket content, while the public can also download it straight from the ICC website at http://www.icc-cricket.com/media_interactive_zone/podcast.php.

This week's show also includes the latest news from around the world as well as updates on the Reliance Mobile ICC Player Rankings.

This edition of the ICC Cricket World audio show runs for 15 minutes and has been put together by the ICC's global broadcast partner ESPN STAR Sports.
