Apart from losing captain Temba Bavuma for a duck on the third ball of the contest, South Africa were rarely troubled after winning the toss.

The ever reliable Quinton de Kock (60) and Aiden Markram (70) produced the biggest partnership of the match, not to mention the two highest scores, as they combined for 128 runs to put the Proteas on the front foot.

The South Africa duo surged through the middle overs with de Kock bringing up his third consecutive half-century of the series before helping his team to 168/4 after 20 overs.

Fidel Edwards (2/19) was the standout of the West Indies bowlers with the important scalps of Bavuma and de Kock.

Bjorn Fortuin (0/11) opened the bowling for South Africa and was hit for six off his third delivery by Evin Lewis (52), who began his charge to a welcome fifty off 30 balls for the hosts.

Unfortunately for Lewis, his teammates were unable to go with him as five of the six Proteas bowlers took at least one wicket each.

Even Wiaan Mulder (2/31) and Kagiso Rabada (2/24) both found themselves with a hat-trick ball but it was Lungi Ngidi who claimed the most wickets for the match with 3/32 off his four overs.

It's South Africa's first T20I series victory since March 2019 with the Proteas adding to their Test series win in the Caribbean last month.
