ICC umpire Simon Taufel has shown his support for the ICC's HIV and AIDS campaign.

At the ICC World Twenty20, the match officials will be wearing the Think Wise logo on their shirts, to promote the global partnership between the ICC, UNAIDS, UNICEF and the Global Media AIDS Initiative that aims to raise awareness and reduce stigma and discrimination around HIV.

"I think it is great that the ICC match officials are supporting a community based campaign programme to help young people make better decisions," said Taufel.

"We want to help people make good decisions in life and making good decisions is what being a good umpire is all about so whatever support we can lend to that is a good thing.

"It is a great honour to be part of the programme and the Emirates Elite Panel is very happy to show our support for this cause.

"We can hopefully help use our profile to make young people understand they are responsible for their own future."
