An all-round performance by Thailand helped it steal a four-wicket victory over Iran in the ACC U19 Challenge Cup played at Prem Oval on Tuesday. Noppon Senamontree (4-23) and Man of the Match Pranav Parakh (41 in 81 balls) played major roles in scripting Thailand's win, which places it in top of group B with six points.

Electing to bat, Iran was dismissed for 133 in the 40th over with top score coming from Ali Narouei (24). In reply, the hosts achieved the required total in the 36th over for the loss of just six wickets.

In the other match of the day, China fell victim to Kuwait's powerful bowling attack led by Faisal Nadeem as it was dismissed for 40 in the 16th at the Chiang Mai Gymkhana ground. Kuwait finished undefeated in Group A with a crushing ten-wicket victory over second-placed China.

Nadeem picked up stunning figures of 6-16 in six overs while Haroon Shahid finished with 3-4. The Chinese were helpless under the tight bowling display with the majority of the runs coming off wides (14).
