Thailand bid farewell to Nattaya Boochatham and Rosenan Kano after securing a sixth gold-medal win in the Women’s T20 final at the South East Asia (SEA) Games 2025.

Nattaya Boochatham confirmed that the SEA Games final would be her last appearance for her national side. The 39-year-old has been a cornerstone of the Thailand side as a top-order batter and a handy spinner.

She featured in 116 T20Is, accumulating 1035 runs with the bat and picking 126 wickets. In 13 ODIs, she scored 165 runs and bagged 12 wickets.

She remains one of Thailand’s most effective bowlers; her consistency as an all-rounder made her a central figure in the side, being a key contributor for her team in ICC and ACC events in the past decade.

She most notably featured in the Women’s T20 World Cup in 2020 and was an integral part of Thailand’s ICC Women’s Emerging Trophy 2025 winning side.

The 26-year-old played a composed and confident knock as she guided her side to the finish. She levelled the scores with a maximum and hit the winning runs, sealing gold for her country and finishing her career with a flourish.

As Thailand women’s cricket looks ahead to the next phase of its development, the contributions of Boochatham and Kanoh will remain an important part of the team’s international story.
