Thailand's Nattaya Boochatham attains career-high in T20I rankings

Vital contributions with both ball and bat in the series against Zimbabwe helped Thailand's Nattaya Boochatham achieve a career-best position across rankings for batters, bowlers and all-rounders.

Boochatham played a starring role in Thailand's 2-1 triumph over Zimbabwe, winning the Player of the Match award in both their wins. With two three-fors and a four-for, she was the highest wicket-taker in the series. She also made handy runs in Thailand's two wins, finishing the series with 44 runs.

Boochatham's performances propelled her to career-best rankings for batters (46), bowlers (16) and all-rounders (11).

Among the other Thailand players, Natthakan Chantham's 88* in the second T20I helped her leapfrog England's Tammy Beaumont and Scotland's Sarah Bryce into the top 20 for batters. Four wickets for Suleeporn Laomi saw her jump seven places and enter the top 25 for bowlers.

In the recently-concluded ICC T20 World Cup Europe Qualifiers, Katherine Fraser played an important part in Scotland's sweep that saw them win four games out of four. Scalping six wickets at a miserly economy rate of under 3, Fraser jumped 15 places to occupy the 41st spot in the T20I rankings for bowlers.

Netherlands’ Frederique Overdijk, who stole all the headlines for breaking the record for best bowling figures in T20Is with her seven wickets for three runs against France, jumped a massive 82 spots to the 160th place.
