The inaugural European Academy is to be held in Spain

The inaugural European Academy, to be held in Spain this April, will be the latest addition to our ever-expanding elite programme, which provides talented young cricketers with regular opportunities to receive professional tuition and to pit themselves against their peers from other countries.
Players attending the academy will benefit from input from a highly qualified team of ECB Staff Coaches supported by internationally renowned specialists, umpires with international experience and a physiotherapist with county experience.
Member countries have been asked to nominate individuals with a proven international track record, or who they believe have the potential to benefit from the elite programme.
The participants will be selected following the Indoor Championships, giving the EDM the opportunity to meet some of the nominees and assess their performances.
The European Development Programme will cover the costs of flights and internal transport for all participants, as well as substantially subsidising the running costs of the academy.
