Susan Rice, Chief Executive of Lloyds TSB Scotland, and John Blain, Scottish cricket's All-Rounder of 2007, join forces to launch the sale of tickets for the first-ever Scotland v England competitive cricket match, which will be staged in Edinburgh next August.

The One-Day International match, on Monday August 18, will be sponsored by Lloyds TSB Corporate. It is expected that the strictly limited capacity of 6,000 seats will sell out quickly for this event.

Already, around 1,500 seats have been booked through corporate hospitality and membership package sales. Now, the remaining 4,500 seats are available for purchase at £48 full price and £28 for concessions.

Susan Rice says: "This is the most exciting cricket match ever staged in Scotland as you would expect from any meeting of ?the auld enemy' in any sport. We are proud to be associated with the event, and we hope that cricket fans throughout the country will rally to support Scotland's players in their ambition to spring as much of a surprise victory as the country's rugby squad did last Saturday."

John Blain adds: "This will be such a huge game for the players, to perform in front of a big home crowd against England. We want to greet the English with a lot of noise from our supporters, so I do urge people to buy tickets early, or risk being disappointed."

Tickets for the Scotland v England ODI are now available for purchase. They are priced at £48 for adults and £28.00 for concessions. To purchase tickets for this match click here or call 0870 272 0001.
