Ton-up Rijal guides Nepal to second win in ICC U19 Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2015
"We lost two early wickets, but I wanted to take it ball-by-ball and play my natural game," said Rijal after the game. "It was a tremendous team performance. We played like champions - we bowled, batted and fielded well."
"Our bowling perhaps was not as good as it normally is, but this is our first competitive game in these conditions and we'll get better. It's our goal to get into the final and qualify for Bangladesh. We'll hopefully get there."
The winner of the five-team ICC U19 Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2015 will complete the 16-team line-up in the ICC U19 Cricket World Cup 2016, which will be staged in Bangladesh from 22 January to 14 February.
