Uncapped Delmi Tucker named in South Africa's white-ball squad for Ireland tour
Delmi Tucker could be in line for her maiden cap after impressive all-rounder performances in the domestic season where she scored 409 runs with the bat in white-ball cricket, and picked up 15 wickets with her right-arm off-spin.
Sinalo Jafta, Marizanne Kapp and ICC Women’s ODI Cricketer of the Year 2021, Lizelle Lee – all of whom were part of the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup 2022 in New Zealand – will miss the tour due to respiratory illness. Dané van Niekerk, who missed the World Cup after fracturing her left ankle remains unavailable despite beginning individual training this month.
