Abu Dhabi:

  • On Saturday 6 November, Australia will play West Indies in their Group 1 match of the Super 12s at 14h00 at the Zayed Cricket Stadium.
  • Australia will hold their pre-match press conference with Aaron Finch at 10h00 local time it will be held remotely only via zoom, meaning no in person attendance is possible. For those wishing to join the press conference remotely, please use the Abu Dhabi zoom link shared below to access.
  • West Indies will not train and will hold their pre-match press conference at a time to be confirmed in the morning of 5 November it will be held remotely only via zoom, meaning no in person attendance is possible. For those wishing to join the press conference remotely, please use the Abu Dhabi zoom link shared below to access.

Dubai:

  • India and Scotland play their Group 2 match of the Super 12s in Dubai at 18h00 local time. The teams will hold their post-match media conferences about 15 minutes after the end of the match.

Sharjah

  • New Zealand and Namibia play their Group 2 match of the Super 12s in Sharjah at 14h00 local time. The teams will hold their post-match media conferences about 15 minutes after the end of the match.
  • England and South Africa play their Group 1 match of the Super 12s on Saturday 6 November at 18h00 local time. They will both hold their pre-match press conferences on 5 November remotely over Zoom. England will be at 11h30 with captain Eoin Morgan followed by South Africa with captain Temba Bavuma.

Some other points to note:

At the completion of the Super 12s stage, the top two teams in each group will progress to the semi-finals. The team placed first in Group 1 will play the team placed second in Group 2 in Semi Final 1 – Abu Dhabi, 10 November. The team placed first in Group 2 will play the team placed second in Group 1 in Semi Final 2 – Dubai, 11 November. If host country India qualify for the semi-finals, they will play in Semi Final 2 in Dubai.

Media interactions are being held on a hybrid model, allowing a limited number of journalists to join in person with the global media allowed to join remotely. Those joining remotely, please login ahead of expected time of media interactions. Media may only be allowed in pre-match day practice sessions. They can’t attend all practice sessions during the tournament.

NRH camerapersons are not allowed at the pre-match media conferences and will not get match-day accreditation. Press conference clips will be uploaded on the Online Media Zone for TV channels and websites only. These cannot be shared on any Social Media platforms. Filming is not allowed inside venues on match days.

Reporters wanting to attend any media conference need to produce proof of a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of attending a match at any venue. This is an event requirement, and the ICC has arranged for these tests. More about this can be found in our advisory here.
