This year's event is the first time that the competition has been held in the EAP region.

The winner shall be crowned the 2010 Pepsi ICC EAP Under 17 Cricket Trophy champion, and hold the title until 2012 when the next competition is held.

Matches shall commence at 9:00am each day and entry to the grounds shall be free. Between 11:25am and 11:45am, Tuesday 7 September to Friday 10 September at Independence Park, Vanuatu Cricket shall be running the free Airports Vanuatu Limited Lunchtime Pikinini Activities.

All young spectators are encouraged to join in the fun cricket activities that shall be on offer whilst the teams break for lunch.

Many organisations are involved in the successful delivery of the tournament by Vanuatu Cricket. "We would like to thank all of our sponsors who are supporting Vanuatu Cricket and also the playing of international cricket here in Vanuatu" stated Pierre Chilia, General Manager of Vanuatu Cricket.

This is the only chance that the people of Vanuatu have to watch live international cricket in Port Vila this year.
